Alnas Electric Submersible Centrifugal Pumps (A-ESPs)

   Alnas electric centrifugal submersible pumps (A-ESP) are suitable for applications in oil production and water injection systems.

  Alnas produces and supplies submersible centrifugal pumps of S, M, L and X series with rated capacity ranging from 10 up to 2500 m3/day and total dynamic head up to 3300 m. A wide range of pumps enables us to size equipment practically for any individual well specifications.

  Alnas pumps are designed in sections and generally consist of an intake module, pump sections, gas separator, check valve and bleeder valve. Our check valves are capable of sealing against high pressures while the tubing pressure testing. As per the customer's request an intake module can be produced jointly with the pump section as a single unit, thus reducing a number of joints. The intake module can be designed with a fine screen, which allows trouble-free pump operation in the presence of high concentrations of mechanical impurities. With high content of free gas, the pump is designed with a gas separator complete with a fine screen instead of a standard intake module.

  With pump sections of different length we can provide an optimum pump solution for any well. The intermediate radial bearings installed along each section ensure longer run life.

   The leading specialised engineering institutes have developed high-quality impeller and diffuser materials and our customers can order pump working parts made of inoculated cast iron, Ni-resist, polymer materials with special extenders. Alnas pump shafts are made of high-strength and high-precision stainless steel or K-Monel alloy on the customer's request.

  Different material application and design allows supplying pumps of high heat resistance, high corrosion and wear resistance.

  Pumps of double-based stage design

  Armed with double-based stage design you get advantages in hard operational conditions of high solids concentration and corrosive environment: it will increase ESP meantime between failures.

  The following features of the double-based stage design provide long run life of the pump:

• Double-based stage design reduces load per area unit of fric tion surface (Fig. 3);
  
  
• Elongated hub design of impeller, which:

- reduces vibration (this impeller design increases its fixing area on the shaft)

- protects the shaft against fluid abrasive effect

- actually suppresses the key cut and stage slipping on the shaft (the total impeller key slot
  is multiple extended, that  decreases the key load) (Fig. 1)

• Application of special materials designed for operation in corrosion condition: all the stages are made of Ni-resist  (Fig. 3).
