Alnas package transformer substations PTS of 6(10) kV are single-transformer terminal outside substations. They are intended to receive three-phase AC power at 50 Hz mains frequency and voltage of 6 or 10 kV, convert it to electric power of 0.4 kV and distribute it in the dead-earthed power-supply systems of oil-producing consumers, single built-up areas and small industrial facilities of the III power supply reliability category.
PTS-M is designed for temperate climate operations:
- at altitude no more than 1000 m above sea level;
- air temperature of -40°C up to +40°C;
- max. wind load of. 36 m/c, ice-loading of 20 mm.
PTS-M consists of high-voltage control unit, power transformer, low-voltage switchgear, operating platform and disconnector, with the help of which the substation is connected to 6(10) kV high-voltage line. All the PTS-M components are mounted in the field.
High-voltage control cabinet is equipped with high-voltage safety devices, bushing and receiving insulators. Overvoltage protection from lightning and switching surge is provided by 6(10) kV excess-voltage polymer-insulated suppressors, which are much better than discharge switchers.
Low-voltage switchgear (LVS) cabinet is equipped with a lever switch, OPN-0.38 excess-voltage suppressors, CE electronic three-phase meter, automatic circuit breakers of VA57-35 or VA04-36 series (on discharge feeders). All the low-voltage switchgear components are panel-secured. The door is double-locked. There is electric and mechanical interlocking provided for operational safety.
PTS-M Features:

- Bolted demountable connection provide for fast replacement of CTS cabinets;
- Applied excess-voltage suppressors make the transformer substation more reliable than those with discharges;

Package Transformer Substation PTS of 4-63 kVA, 6(10)kV
Package transformer pole-type substations PTS are single-transformer outside substations. They are intended to receive three-phase AC power at 50 Hz mains frequency and voltage of 6 or 10 kV, convert it to the electric power of 0.4 kV and distribute it in the dead-earthed power-supply systems of farming areas, single built-up areas, small industrial facilities and other consumers in the temperate climate regions (from -45°C to +40°C).
PTS is connected to power transmission line by disconnector installed on the nearest support. Low-voltage switchgear cabinet and high-voltage equipment are located according to the type plan. PTS substations are supplied with disconnector, high-voltage discharges and safety devices. PTS can be completed with power transformers upon request. As per Customer's request the number of outgoing lines and rated current of circuit breakers can be altered. |
