Alnas designers have developed a new generation of hydroprotec-tors PR57(H) with protector and compensator installed a single housing. This design significantly shortens the length (material consumption) of ESP system, reduces the number of intersectional connections. B| Also in PR57(H) modifications the pump intake can be installed jointly with hydroprotector thus reducing the total number of intersec-IMv tional connections (Fig. 1).
There are several PR57(H) modifications: PR57, 1-PR57, 2-PR57, PR57H, 1-PR57H, 2-PR57H, PR57H1, 1-PR57H1, 2-PR57H1 which can be made:

with pump intake (Fig. 2) or without it;

for operation at bottomhole temperatures of 90°C, 120°C, 160°C.
The bladder with compensating oil volume is placed above the motor to reduce the fluid pressure influencing the bladder while ESP running into the well (Fig. 4).
All the PR57(H) modifications similarly to HPR54(H) have special relief valves (Fig. 3), thrust journal placed in the bottom end of hydroprotector and face seals locking up from the motor side (Fig. 5), that ensure removal of excessive inside pressure and free gas from oiling system of motor. This design prevents overheating of face seals at dry operation and dangerous overpressure inside chambers of motor and hydroprotector. |

Hydroprotector PR57(H) and 1-PR57(H) is designed for motors up to 100 kW.
Hydroprotector 2-PR57(H) is designed for motors up to 180 kW, it has two-set bladder and a bigger oil volume to compensate natural leakage through face seals.
Hydroprotector 1-PR57(H) and 2-PR57H differ from PR57(H) by reinforced thrust journal, which alleviate axial loads. These types of hydroprotectors can be effective in assembly with pumps without thrust bearings.
All the PR57(H) modifications are designed with hydroseal labyrinth chambers and face seals that effectively prevent well fluid from entering the motor (Fig. 5). |
