HISTORY of OAO “ALNAS”

1971 - The Council of Ministers of the USSR made a decision to build up an Electric Submersible Pump Plant in Almetyevsk.

1978 – The plant is included to the list of operating plants by the order of Minkhimmash №110 dd.19.06.

1979 – The first submersible electric motors were assembled.

1982 – Serial manufacture of the first submersible pumps was started. Thus the plant was the first in the USSR to produce complete submersible pumping systems.

1991 - The first consignment of goods was shipped for export.

1993 - Almetyevsk ESP plant was reformed to the Open type Joint Stock Company “ALNAS”.

1995 - The Service Department was created.

1996 – The Certificate of Russian State Standard for production of AO “ALNAS” was received. The Engineering Center was created.

1997 – The Quality system of AO “ALNAS” was certified for compliance to International Standard ISO 9001 (Canadian register QCB).

1998 - AO “ALNAS” was given a Government award for the Quality system. A number of subsidiaries were set up.

1999 – The automotive components products release for AUTOVAZ was started.

2000, 2001, 2002 – AO “ALNAS” was declared the winner of the All-Russian competition “The best Russian companies”.

2000 – AO “ALNAS” was reformed to the Open type Joint Stock Company “ALNAS”.

2001 – OAO “ALNAS” received a Certificate of the 1st group of investment appeal of the All-Russian investment forum “The gold reserve of the country”.

2004 – The Honorary public medal “The best accounting service in Russia” was awarded.

2005 – Production of components for the motor-car industry was certified.
